Information for Authors

Open Access

Authors of peer-reviewed accepted papers may choose to make their work freely accessible via our internet portal. Authors who wish to take this opportunity are asked to pay a fee of € 680.

All Open Access articles are handled in the same way as any other article. They pass the usual peer-review routine and are accepted or rejected on the advice of our specialist reviewers. All accepted papers appear in the printed version of the journal and are delivered to the online portal where they can be accessed without restriction by our subscribers and on a pay-per-view-basis by other interested researches. All titles and abstracts are free for everybody.

In addition to the usual online presence the full-text of Open Access articles can be accessed from every workplace with web access at any time. Thus all readers have full access to Open Access articles with no restriction whatsoever. Since all articles are equipped with DOI and registered with CrossRef they can be easily found via search machines and databases (e.g. Google).

Authors of Open Access articles are equipped with a special copyright status. They are allowed to post the final printed PDF of their article to any private, institutional or company website provided it is not used commercially.
